Beau Riportella, Quad Cities River Bandits, baseball: The former Tulare Union standout made the jump from rookie ball to Class-A. Riportella landed a spot on the St. Louis Cardinals' Midwest League affiliate. He was 0-for-11 in his first three games for Quad Cities.
