Infielder Aaron Miles was selected in the 19th round of the Amateur Baseball Draft by the Houston Astros in 1995 after a stellar career for Antioch High School in Antioch, Calif. He made his major league debut in 2003 playing in eight games for the Chicago White Sox. He was traded to the Colorado Rockies and finished fourth in voting for National League Rookie of the Year in 2004. In 2005 Miles was traded to St. Louis, where he helped the Cardinals win the World Series in 2006. In six seasons, Miles has hit 12 home runs, driven in 142 runs and batted .282 overall. He also has a .977 lifetime fielding percentage.
