Dugout Central: Trades That Make Both Teams Winners

The Ojeda-Schiraldi trade reminds of another big trade between two teams soon to meet in the World Series. On December 12, 1980 sending Rollie Fingers, Pete Vuckovich, and Ted Simmons to Milwaukee in exchange for Lary Sorenson, Dave LaPoint, Sixto Lezcano and David Greene. What an insane trade it must have seemed at the time! The Brewers received two possible future Hall of Famers and a gutsy horse in exchange for two journeymen and two prospects.
