jrocke217 says: i'm gonna try & not spend too much on this matter(like the steriod issue)....trying to keep things to just a couple posts not to water down the page with this stuff. it's a unfortunate matter(really is anybody surprised...nickelback's song rockstar comes to mind for some reason), but things need to move forward for this team. this does open a spot on the roster for say brendan ryan or juan gonzalez or maybe another that was sitting on the bubble. with brian barton hitting real well yesterday, juan gonzalez has been pushed to my bubble guy(until further notice) since he has agreed to take a shot at memphis this season & build his way back into the majors. so i'm leaning towards ryan. also another guy that could get the spot would be d'angelo jimenez, he has experience at all infield positions, has been working in the outfield this spring, & is a veteran....key word meaning veteran(larussa loves vets).
