In this calm before the storm of "pitchers-and-catchers-report," the latest fun du jour has been projecting Rick Ankiel’s 2008 season. The good folks at VEB weighed in with a bullish community projection of 27 home runs, and, in the meantime, BPro’s PECOTA came in with 30 home runs (granted, in 610 plate appearances).
