jrocke217 says: it's just a rumor, don't read too deeply into this. i personally don't believe it. like mozeliak has said over & over again, he is well set on his players going into camp. i really don't see scott boras dropping years off on a lohse contract from 4 years(10 per) to 3 years(12 per) to now 1 year(? per). there's still plenty of teams out there interested & willing to pay more than what the cardinals can offer, like phillies & reds.
